COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — During its annual convention, held April 19-23 in Colorado Springs, CO, the American Bakers Association (ABA) honored member companies and industry leaders through the Champions for a Better Tomorrow Awards.

The initiative was first introduced last year, designed in alignment with ABA’s strategic plan. The honor celebrates baking manufacturing companies’ innovation, leadership and commitment and how they foster change in their communities, workplaces and the planet.

“Every day, across the country, the commercial baking industry is strengthening their communities, supporting their teams and making thoughtful investments in a more sustainable future,” said Bill Quigg, ABA chair and president and CEO of Richmond Baking. “The Champions for a Better Tomorrow Awards celebrate those stories and the positive impacts of ABA members.”

Of the 48 nominees, six companies were awarded across the three categories this year.
