CLEVELAND, OH — Another savory snack option is joining the Terranean product lineup.

The woman-owned food brand announced the debut of its Avocado Oil Pita Chips. Made with authentic pita bread, the double-layered snacks are twice baked and feature Levantine-inspired flavors such as za’atar, sea salt, and cinnamon with date sugar.

The snacks are free from artificial preservatives, colors or flavors and carry vegan, non-GMO, kosher and halal status.

Distribution will start at World Market this summer with expansion planned for additional distribution partners afterward, including Fresh Thyme Market, Sendik’s Food Market, Festival Foods and Heinen’s.

The growth of this emerging brand aligns with the full-scale adoption of avocado oil across the baking industry. This spring alone, Firehook, Toufayan Bakeries and Xochitl all announced new or reformulated offerings featuring avocado oil.
