IRVING, TX — Xochitl, known for its authentic tortilla chips and salsas, announced the appointment of a new leadership team as the company enters the next phase of its growth.
This strategic move follows Xochitl’s recently announced partnership with Forward Consumer Partners, a private investment firm focused on dynamic brands.
The newly appointed executives will position Xochitl for continued growth and success across core areas of the business.
Jolie Weber brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the food and CPG industries to her role as CEO of Xochitl. She most recently served as CEO of Lenny & Larry’s, expanding the brands into new channels and developing innovative items for the bakery and salty snack category. Her background includes a proven track record of expanding market presence, fostering operational excellence and driving strategic initiatives.
As VP of sales, Dan Schlegel will leverage his expertise to further the brand’s presence in retail and e-commerce channels, driving sales strategies and fostering strong retail partnerships. He previously held senior sales roles at Sazerac and Barcel USA, where he led high-performing teams and expanded distribution channels for leading beverage and snack brands.
Andrew Glanz joins the brand as VP of operations, bringing extensive experience in operational leadership and supply chain management. He most recently served as VP of operations at Seed Beauty, and, prior to that, held key operations roles at Shearer’s Foods and Diamond Foods. Glanz brings a wealth of knowledge on streamlining processes and improving production efficiency across multiple categories and product lines. His operational experience will aid in scaling Xochitl’s production capabilities to meet growing product demand.
As head of marketing and e-commerce, Jose Carlos Carrillo will lead the company’s marketing and e-commerce efforts to focus on building the brand’s digital presence and connecting with consumers through innovative marketing strategies. Carrillo has a strong background in digital marketing and brand strategy. Most recently, he served in marketing roles at Topo Chico, Wise Foods and Coca-Cola.
The new leadership team will work closely with Forward Consumer Partners and focus on expanding distribution, optimizing operations and building brand awareness while maintaining Xochitl’s commitment to high-quality, authentic Mexican products.
In addition to the bolstered executive leadership team, Xochitl also announced the appointment of Federico Muyshondt to its board of directors.

Muyshondt, who is currently CEO of BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition joins Weber on the board as well as Carlos Salinas, founder of Xochitl; Carl Lee, former CEO of Snyder’s Lance; Maura Mottolese, CEO of Firehook Bakery and former CEO of Tate’s Bake Shop; and Matt Leeds, Imran Manji and Alyssa Puccinelli from Forward Consumer Partners.
