MINNEAPOLIS — Wicked Kitchen introduces a 100% plant-based frozen artisan pizza that extend the plant-based packaged goods market in the US.

The brand was first launched by chefs and brothers, Derek and Chad Sarno, and now have over 40 products available in multiple departments in US retailers to continue the movement of plant-based alternatives.

“Shoppers no longer have to sacrifice taste or convenience when looking for plant-based meals,” said Pete Speranza, CEO of Wicked Kitchen. “Our latest Wicked Kitchen line up is inspired by cuisines from around the world and while they happen to be plant-based, they are meant to be enjoyed by all —whether you’re preparing a meal in a dorm room or looking for a quick and easy lunch or dinner that’s veg-forward and full of flavor.”

These wood-fired pizzas with hand-stretched dough are made with “motz” — Wicked’s vegan mozzarella-style toppings — and are available in three different options for a retailed price of $9.99: Wicked Meaty Pizza, Saucy Motz Pizza and Rulebreakin’ Rustic Veg Pizza.

Wicked Kitchen’s portfolio products have the largest display of plant-based CPG brand in the US, with more than 6,500 retailers including Kroger and other store banners. They will also become available for purchase at Sprouts Farmers Market, 7-Eleven, Publix and Giant, and Wal-Mart in September.
