KANSAS CITY, MO — The latest edition of Troubleshooting Innovation, Commercial Baking’s award-winning podcast, hits airwaves March 1.

In Season 18, sponsored by HaFSBX, Joanie Spencer, editor-in-chief of Commercial Baking, sits down with Nick Fallucca, chief product and innovation officer at Milwaukee-based Palermo’s.

Through five episodes, the pair discusses everything from the history of the Fallucca family and the company’s growth to product development and forward-looking innovation.

Palermo’s began as an Italian bakery in Milwaukee’s East Side in 1964. Over the years, the Falluccas scaled the business into a frozen pizza and private label manufacturer with various production facilities and a Culinary Innovation Center. More than 60 years later, the third-generation family-owned business has a host of brands under its banner, including Screamin’ Sicilian and Urban Pie Pizza Co.

New episodes roll out each week on the Commercial Baking website, Apple podcastsYouTube and Spotify.

Previous Troubleshooting Innovation seasons feature baking industry thought leaders such as Spiros Assimacopolous of The Good Bread Co. and Dale Easdon of Klosterman Baking Co.
