MINNEAPOLIS — After more than two decades of operation in Tucker, GA, Rise Baking Co. announced the relocation of its Innovation Center to Atlanta as an investment in its growth and future. The baking company will make this transition later this year, aligning with the end of the lease at its current space.

“The current Innovation Center in Tucker has been an important part of our history, and we’re grateful for the foundation it provided,” said Mark McNeil, CEO of Rise Baking. “As we look ahead, this move allows us to evolve our environment in a way that better supports our people, our customers and how we work together.”

The new Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence will be housed in Uptown Atlanta, a 47-acre mixed-use community housing an array of businesses. Offering more than 30,000 square feet of office and R&D space, this location will unite Rise Baking’s Atlanta-based service teams, from customer service to commercialization to procurement.

“It’s an investment in building a true Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence that reflects who we are today and where we’re headed, not only in terms of our capabilities, but also in providing an environment where our people can connect, collaborate and thrive,” McNeil said.

This relocation continues a series of major investments for the baking company, spanning operations and personnel alike. Most recently, Rise announced its agreement to acquire Clifton, NJ-based Jimmy’s Gourmet Bakery. The company also welcomed Sarah Testa to its c-suite as chief commercial officer and announced a major investment that nearly doubles the square footage of its Pleasant View, UT, facility.
