Acquisition extends Rise Baking’s reach Northeast

MINNEAPOLIS — Rise Baking Co. continues its growth trajectory with its latest acquisition. The company announced a definitive agreement to acquire Clifton, NJ-based Jimmy’s Gourmet Bakery, a producer of premium cookies and baked goods. This deal is expected to close Q3 2026.

This deal will expand Rise Baking’s offerings and manufacturing capabilities as well as further its reach to Northeast customers.

Over the years, Rise Baking has made several acquisitions to further its reach and capabilities. This includes nabbing Table Talk Pies, Wonder Brands Holdings and FGF Brands USA.

The baking company has also made several strides to fortify its c-suite. In addition to bringing on McNeil as CEO at the start of the year, Rise Baking welcomed Sarah Testa as chief commercial officer in May.
