EAST HANOVER, NJ — In 2025, Mondelez International’s OREO brand had a long thread of new releases, ranging from limited-edition flavors like Birthday Cake and Chocolate Covered Pretzel to partnerships with Selena Gomez and Reese’s.

The new year will continue this string of innovation for the sandwich cookie brand. Along with the recently announced OREO Zero Sugar varieties, set to launch in January, consumers will be seeing an array of novel and returning varieties, totaling nine releases.

This month, OREO is debuting its THINS Chocolate Ganache cookies as a permanent addition to its slimmer line. The brand is also breaking out of its crispy cookie form with the release of two soft-baked treats: Muffins and Cakesters Confetti Cake. Available nationwide this month, both permanent additions offer a way for shoppers to experience classic OREO flavors.

To close out the year, Cookie Dough, which first hit the market in 2014, is returning to store shelves across the US beginning Dec. 22, while supplies last.

The Mondelez line is bringing big taste to tiny treats with Minis Chocolate Creme, available now, as well as Minis Peanut Butter and Golden OREO Minis, which hit shelves Jan. 5. All three Minis will come in two bag sizes: 3- and 8-ounce, with Golden Oreo Minis having an extra 3.5-ounce go-cup option.

After debuting as a limited-time release last summer, OREO Reese’s Cookies are returning to retailers nationwide at the start of 2026.
