ERIE, CO — The baking industry was well-represented in the 2026 Queen’s Choice Awards, presented by the National Honey Board. Big names such as Kellanova’s Nutri-Grain brand and Walmart’s private label Bettergoods brand were among those recognized, along with newer players in the industry.

The awards recognize the top new product innovations made with honey. According to data from Innova Market Insights, new products launched with honey increased 16.7% in 2025.

“The remarkable range of this year’s Queen’s Choice Award winners shows just how versatile honey can be,” said Catherine Barry, VP of marketing at the National Honey Board. “From breakfast foods and beverages to barbecue sauce, frozen desserts and even electrolyte lollipops, brands of every size are finding innovative ways to use honey. We’re proud to celebrate the food brands bringing these exciting products to consumers.”

Kellanova’s Nutri-Grain brand was recognized for its Crunchy Honey Oat Flax Bars, which contain 23 grams of whole grains and appeal to consumers seeking snacks made without high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors.

Mason Dixie’s Sweet Honey Butter Pull-Apart Parker Rolls, which were featured in Commercial Baking’s 2026 New Products Annual, meet growing consumer demand for an at-home artisan bakery experience. They are a clean-label addition to the brand’s heat-and-eat portfolio.

The full list of the 2026 Queen’s Choice Awards winners is on the National Honey Board website.
