HUNT VALLEY, MD — McCormick & Company reported that Terry Thomas, chief growth officer of Flowers Foods, has been appointed to the board of directors of McCormick.

Thomas has over 30 years of domestic and global experience in the CPG industry spanning all channels and multiple categories. He brings a deep understanding of the retail landscape to the board as week as expertise in sales and all key commercial functions.

Before joining Flowers, Thomas served on the baking company’s board of directors for three years, during which he was a member of the audit and finance committees. He has also held leadership roles at PepsiCo including Frito-Lay, The Coco-Cola Co., The Clorox Co. and Proctor & Gamble.

Thomas’ appointment is part of the board’s commitment to its continuous revamping process, ensuring a mix of skills and experiences that complement McCormick’s strategy and promote effective governance practices.
