Legacy Bakehouse announces new CEO

WAUKESHA, WI — Legacy Bakehouse, a leading manufacturer of premium baked snacks, cookies and tortillas, appointed Tim Jax as CEO. Previously, he served as the CEO of Crofter’s Organic.

“Tim is joining Legacy at a critical point in our journey,” said Brian Behm, board member and managing director of Benford Capital Partners, which owns the baking company. “His proven leadership skills are essential for our next stage of growth. His experience scaling and driving results with innovative food companies will prove invaluable for our evolving platform.”

Jax brings nearly 20 years of CPG management experience to the Legacy table, including leadership, marketing and innovation roles at Pretzels, Inc., TreeHouse Foods and Conagra Brands. He has also served as a member of Legacy’s board of directors, giving him deep familiarity with the company.

Alain Vallet-Sandre will remain as Legacy’s president and partner with Jax on strategy and commercial execution. Late last year, Lauren Davis joined the c-suite as CFO to help scale the company.

The leadership additions are part of Legacy’s continued investment across the company’s platform, including increased capacity, automation and expanded capabilities.
