CHICAGO — As school nutrition standards evolve, Kellanova Away From Home, under the Mars umbrella, is providing operators with the products they need to stay a step ahead of changing requirements.
At this year’s School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference, held July 12-14 in Charlotte, NC, Kellanova showcased a portfolio of snack and breakfast innovations to help foodservice operators meet school nutrition goals.
“The future of K‑12 nutrition will demand higher standards and higher participation, and operators are already feeling that pressure as they work to meet evolving requirements without losing the student engagement their programs depend on,” said Jessica Waller, senior VP, Away From Home, Mars Snacking. “We have planned for that curve. Our K‑12 portfolio reflects a commitment to solutions that support compliance, drive participation and work within the real-world constraints of school operations — future-ready for where standards are going, and practical for the challenges operators face today.”
Available this fall, the portfolio lineup includes Pringles Mingles Whole Grain Puffed Snacks, Eggo waffles and whole grain-rich Pop-Tarts toaster pastries.
