LOS ANGELES — La Brea Bakery’s artisan bread will be featured throughout (M)EAT CARNIVAL, in a variety of meals curated by a culinary team led by Chef Itamar Abramovitch. (M)EAT CARNIVAL is a celebration of Mediterranean-inspired dishes with unique preparations and flavors.
The culinary lineup includes over 20 hand-held dishes featuring meat, seafood, fresh products, La Brea Bakery breads and more.
”We smoke and grill La Brea Bakery’s artisan breads to accompany many of the dishes presented at the Carnival,” Abramovitch said. “The breads are the perfect foundation for our house-made ’faux gras,’ shakshuka, sabiches, and other flavorful dishes.”
Occurring at monthly pop-ups, the event will differ at each stop as 20 chefs showcase their interpretation of Mediterranean-American cuisine cooked over a live fire.
“The chefs have brought so much ingenuity and creativity to this event, it’s unbelievable,” said Brie Buenning, director of marketing, La Brea Bakery. “They have created the most unexpected and unique ways of delighting adventurous and curious food lovers.”
Half of the carnival will be devoted to a workshop with the other part demonstrating cooking presentations. This year’s series will stay in the residence in the Napa-American Canyon region with monthly pop-ups running from March through October.
La Brea Bakeries’ sister brand Otis Spunkmeyer will also be featured at this event.
