CHICAGO — The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science of food and its application, has launched a Product Development Bootcamp.

CHICAGO — The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science of food and its application, has launched a Product Development Bootcamp.
The 10-module course is designed to improve skills and knowledge, accelerate new product development and improve the success of new products.
The course can benefit product development novices to product development veterans and offers a range of insights, strategies and examples taught by experts to accelerate and improve product development.
“The product development process can be a long, arduous process,” said Bryan Hitchcock, chief science and technology officer of IFT. “From the moment a product opportunity has been identified through the launch of that new or modified product, time is one of the most valuable resources a product developer has. That’s why IFT developed the Product Development Bootcamp, to teach and reinforce time-saving approaches that give product developers the right tools to efficiently overcome challenges and bring products to market safely and effectively.”

Completion of the course grants learners an IFT Product Development certificate and year-round access to resources and tools to continue their product development learnings.
