CHICAGO – Ahead of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on August 4, Ferrara’s Famous Amos Brand announced the release of three new internationally inspired flavors as part of its Wonders From the World cookie line.

The three new bite-sized cookie flavors feature coconut from the Philippines, chocolate from Belgium and hazelnuts from the Mediterranean region. The brand has also released new packaging with location-inspired graphics, which the company said “invites the consumer into another world of flavor.”

“We heard from our fans that quality ingredients are most important to them, so we’re relaunching Famous Amos cookies with this in mind,” said Rachna Patel, senior director of distinctive brands at Ferrara. “We selected the best ingredients from around the world for our three new globally inspired flavors and we can’t wait for everyone to try them.”

The product is beginning to hit the shelves now and will be available in grocery stores and retailers nationwide. They are available in a 7-oz. pantry bag for a suggested retail price of $4.49.
