ISLANDIA, NY— Entenmann’s celebrates its 125th birthday by teaming up with Baked by Melissa, a New York dessert company, by creating limited-edition bite-sized cupcakes.
“As soon as we found out that Melissa was a long-time fan of Entenmann’s, we knew we had to tap her to help celebrate our big milestone birthday,” said Catherine Danielowich, senior brand manager for Bimbo Bakeries USA, parent company of Entenmann’s. “Their expertise in delicious and innovative mini-cupcakes and birthdays, combined with our beloved baked goods recipes, has resulted in a delicious trio of Entenmann’s-inspired cupcakes.”
The two brands have created three cupcake flavors inspired by Entenmann’s snack cakes: Devil’s Food Crumb, Chocolate Chip Cookie and Party Cake.
“As a kid, many of my after-school snacks were from Entenmann’s,” said Melissa Ben-Ishay, CEO and co-founder of Baked by Melissa. “I used to eat the topping from the Devil’s Food Crumb Donuts before diving into the donut. Entenmann’s treats have such a unique flavor that takes me back to those afternoons, and now, I couldn’t be more excited to partner with Entenmann’s to celebrate their 125th birthday.”
The Entenmann’s collaboration is available in-store in 6- and 25-packs. The 25-pack is also available for purchase online through Baked by Melissa’s website.
