SOLON, OH — DiGiorno, a frozen pizza brand under Nestle’s portfolio, debuted Wood Fired Style Crust Pizza.

The new line features a pre-baked crust at high temperatures to achieve the desired chewy and lightly charred texture typical of a wood-fired crust.

“DiGiorno is known for consistently delivering a fresh-baked taste and crust innovation, and Wood Fired Style Crust Pizza is no exception,” said Kimberly Holowiak, senior brand manager for DiGiorno. “This new crust offers everything people love about wood-fired pizza — the crisp, the chew, the char — all without ever leaving the house or using a pizza oven. This new pizza is yet another example of how we’re pushing the frozen category and meeting people’s dynamic tastes.”

The artisan-crafted pizza will be available in four varieties, outlined below.

  • Four Cheese Pizza: Features a blend of Romano, Asiago, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses
  • Meat Trio Pizza: Includes a curated blend of pepperoni, salami and Italian sausage
  • Supreme Speciale Pizza: Combines flavors in layers of savory pepperoni and sausage, topped with a medley of green, yellow and red peppers and onions
  • Pepperoni Pizza: Stacked with zesty pepperoni

Starting in May, all four DiGiorno Wood Fired Style Crust Pizza varieties will be available at retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $6.49.
