JACKSON, MI — Dawn Foods is supporting its long-term growth strategy by promoting two key leaders in its North America operations team.
Melissa Bautista has been upped to SVP of operations in North America and Jen Taggart will now serve as VP of North America manufacturing.
“These leadership announcements reflect Dawn’s commitment to the growth and development of our team members and highlight the significant contributions Melissa and Jen have made across our organization,” said John Schmitz, president of North America for Dawn Foods.
Bautista has been a member of Dawn’s operations team since 2022, supporting critical strategic projects to further grow the company. In her new role, she will oversee manufacturing; continuous improvement; environmental, health, safety and security (EHS&S); engineering; and food safety and quality assurance.
Taggart most recently served as plant director at the Louisville, KY, manufacturing facility. As VP of manufacturing, she will oversee Dawn plant directors across North America and support the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance processes and integrate technology.
