PORTLAND, OR — Brazi Bites, a Latin-inspired, better-for-you foods brand, launched its new gluten-free waffles line.
Brazi Bites saw social media creators putting its Brazilian Cheese Bread into waffle irons in the #WillitWaffle trend on social media. With savory waffles being nonexistent on the market and gluten-free options falling below the taste mark, the company seized the opportunity to create a waffle that met both interests.
In addition to the first-of-its-kind Cheesy waffle, the flavor options include Homestyle and Blueberry.
“This is one of our most exciting launches to date, especially with the rise in consumer demand for trending and viral products,” said Junea Rocha, co-founder and CMO of Brazi Bites. “Once we saw how many fans were ‘waffling’ our Cheese Bread, we knew we had to make this viral hack a reality. Brazi Bites Waffles can be purchased exclusively at Sprouts Farmers Market starting in September 2023 for an SRP of $5.99. The product will be available in additional retailers in 2024.
