LEXINGTON, NC — TSA Griddle Systems, a leading manufacturer of griddle, waffle and crumpet systems, has closed its Carrollton, TX facility and consolidated into the Wolverine Proctor North Carolina location. For more than 100 years, Wolverine Proctor has designed and built thermal processing machines for the food industry and is a leading supplier to the frozen egg patty and breakfast market.

TSA made the move to accommodate the expected growth in the frozen breakfast business segment.

“We see all our breakfast segment markets growing,” said Scott Grayson, sales and business development manager, TSA Griddle Systems. “Combining TSA and WP allows us to offer a broader range of products to our customers — no longer just griddle machines for waffles, French toast and pancakes but also ovens for frozen eggs. This also gives TSA a more global platform to access our current frozen egg customers internationally.”

“We have worked extensively for the past six months on this process. We love seeing several of our newly trained employees bringing about innovative ideas for the products and services.” - Scott Grayson, sales and business development manager, TSA Griddle Systems.

This consolidation is expected to bring big benefits to both TSA and Wolverine Proctor, including increased manufacturing space; global coverage; and additional support in areas such as field service, customer service and engineering. TSA will also be able to perform product testing in its controlled lab in Horsham, PA.
