OVERLAND PARK, KS — BEMA has tapped motivational business growth expert Jeff Havens to deliver the keynote address at the association’s 2023 convention, to be held June 20-24 at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, SC.

Havens is the author of Us vs. Them: Redefining the Multigenerational Workplace to Inspire Your Employees to Love Your Company, Drive Innovation and Create Change and Reality: The Novel.

Known for his ability to educate using humor, Haven’s approach to business education is summed up with his quote, “Nobody ever learns anything if they’re too bored to listen.”

“Convention 2023 is all about culture, connections and inspiration,” said Kerwin Brown, president and CEO of BEMA. “We will start the week with a burst of energetic inspiration with our keynote speaker, Jeff Havens. We think attendees will appreciate Jeff’s engaging delivery of business insights and improvement strategies, served with a side of humor and fun.”

BEMA invites member attendees to reconnect during the annual convention, either in-person or through the remotely accessible Workforce Edition, available online June 22-23. The interactive Workforce Edition programming will include a unique presentation of skills and professional development workshops designed specifically for the baking industry workforce.
