WASHINGTON, DC — The United States is celebrating 250 years of history, and the baking industry’s instrumental role is not going unnoticed, thanks to advocacy from the American Bakers Association (ABA).

Through a social-forward campaign, the association is honoring the baking industry and its dedication to supporting US families and workers. With operations in all 50 states, the baking industry generates nearly 800,000 jobs and supports essential supply chains that deliver dependable food for millions of Americans.

To help members celebrate the occasion, ABA provided a free multi-media toolkit equipped with graphics, logos and social media messaging. The association is also asking for submissions to create a 250th-anniversary video, with clips expressing pride for the industry as well as three words that capture the essence of the baking community.
