SAN FRANCISCO — Portion sizes are taking a slight hit as consumers adapt their eating styles to the changing economic climate and GLP-1 revolution, marking the rise of personal-sized products for the modern palate.

Hero Pizza Crust, the latest innovation from Hero Bread, satiates demand for both health and indulgence, with the nutrient label consumers are searching for.

“Pizza night at home is one of those rituals consumers never actually wanted to give up; they just couldn’t find a version that worked for how they’re eating today,” said YuChiang Cheng, CEO of Hero Bread. “Our fans have been asking for a pizza crust for years, and our bakers spent a long time getting it right, because it had to deliver amazing texture and taste.”

Each 75-gram personal-sized pizza crust carries 4 grams of net carbs, 20 grams of protein, and 22 grams of fiber. Made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients, such as olive oil and resistant wheat starch, each crust comes in at 140 calories and has a shelf life of up to 10 days in the refrigerator or up to 4 months in the freezer.

Hero Pizza Crust bakes at 420°F in 8-10 minutes and is a versatile at-home option for big families and small households alike.

“Instead of compromising, this product opens up a whole bunch of creative cooking opportunities, and we can’t wait to see people post photos of using this product like naan or flatbread,” Cheng said.

The new personal crusts are available in a 4-pack for $29.99 on the Hero Bread website.
