FRISTAD, SWEDEN — Upon the completed split of Middleby Corp.’s food processing business this summer, Sveba Dahlen will become one of more than 30 brands comprising Midera Food Processing.
Though Midera will be headquartered in Rosemont, IL, Åsa Ericsson, marketing manager at Sveba Dahlen, confirmed that day-to-day contact will not change for the brand’s Swedish customers. Messaging moving forward will also include the Midera name.
“We will continue delivering the same high quality, the same service and the same strong solutions for bakeries, pastry shops, restaurants and food production,” Ericsson said. “The difference is that, going forward, we will do so as part of Midera Food Processing — a strong international group fully focused on our industry.”
This transition of the company’s ovens, machines and solutions for bakeries and pastry shops to the new business will fortify the presence of the Sveba Dahlen and Glimek brands on a global scale. Ericsson confirmed that both brands will continue operating under their current names, offering customers familiarity despite the shift in ownership.
As part of the Midera portfolio, which will focus on solutions for industrial protein, bakery and snack production, Sveba Dahlen will be able to better serve its customers.
