MAISON-ALFORT, FRANCE — Biospringer by Lesaffre, a subsidiary focused on yeast extracts and natural fermentation-based solutions for food manufacturers, announced its acquisition of select intellectual property and technology from PTX Food Corp.

PTX Food focuses on fermented bacterial solutions and specialized technology. By integrating this knowledge with specialized technology, Biospringer will be able to strengthen its industrial network and further its offerings for the global food sector beyond yeast-based solutions.

As part of the transaction, Biospringer will begin transferring the equipment and technology acquired from PTX Food to the subsidiary’s network of facilities.
