COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — In addition to awarding this year’s Champions for a Better Tomorrow recipients, the American Bakers Association (ABA) also recognized member companies receiving the Safety Recognition Program accolade during its annual Convention, held April 19-23.
The recognition program, part of the association’s strategic plan to elevate the industry as a destination workplace, is designed to promote workplace safety awareness and further enhance employee safety. Participation in this program is growing, with ABA reporting a 14% increase in member participation this year.
“We’re proud to recognize the commercial baking industry’s commitment to safety,” said Eric Dell, ABA president and CEO. “Our members are continuously reinforcing their strong safety cultures, investing in their people, and setting a high standard for operational excellence.”
