VEVEY, SWITZERLAND — Nestle announced the retirement of Sanjay Bahadur, executive VP and head of group strategy and business development.

Bahadur has been with the company for more than 40 years, demonstrating a commitment to furthering the CPG company’s impact across M&A transactions and portfolio management.

“On behalf of everyone at the company, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Sanjay for his many contributions to Nestle,” said CEO Philipp Navratil. “He consistently demonstrated uncompromising integrity and a humble approach to leadership, fostering trust and collaboration across the organization. We wish him all the best for this next chapter.”

Bahadur held a range of global roles during his time at Nestle, in countries such as India, Turkey and China.

Following his departure from the company in December, CFO Anna Manz will lead M&A functions.
