FOSTORIA, OH — Mennel Milling Co., a family-owned company that produces a wide range of wheat flours, has acquired the Toledo Flour Mill from Mondelez International.

As one of the largest flour mills in the US, the Toledo facility can produce up to 4 million pounds of soft wheat flour each day for customers across the region and has been in business for more than a century.

“We are proud to officially welcome the Toledo Flour Mill and its skilled workforce to the Mennel Milling family,” said D. Ford Mennel, president and CEO of Mennel Milling. “This acquisition underscores our long-term commitment to investing in the products and services that allow our organization to strategically grow and meet the needs of our valued partners.”

The acquisition supports Mennel’s broader supply chain needs while enabling the company to better serve existing and new customers with its enhanced production capacity for high-quality flour and grain-based products.

Toledo Flour Mill will continue supplying flour to Mondelez under Mennel’s ownership, while expanding access to Mennel’s products across additional markets.
