NEW YORK — The latest limited-edition offering from Tate’s Bake Shop adds a touch of coffee flavor to its signature thin and crispy cookies. The Mondelez International brand partnered with coffee company Happy, co-founded by actor Robert Downey Jr., to create three unique products.

“Cookies and coffee are a classic combo, and we’re excited to partner with Happy to bring Walmart shoppers three brand new ways to experience these flavors together,” said Jessica Goon, chief marketing officer at Tate’s Bake Shop.

The launch includes a Vanilla Latte Cookie, inspired by Happy’s ready-to-drink canned beverage. In addition, Tate’s lent its proprietary chocolate chip flavor to two Happy products: a ready-to-drink latte and dry ground coffee.

“We were so excited to join forces with the iconic Tate’s Bake Shop on our first co-branded partnership,” said Craig Dubitsky, co-founder and CEO of Happy. “We’re always thinking about different ways we can bring surprise and delight into our customers’ everyday lives, and there’s no better way to do that than brightening everyone’s cup with a little bit of cookie magic.”

The collection is available exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide.

This release comes on the heels of the addition of Soft Baked Cookies to the Tate’s portfolio.
