EAST HANOVER, NJ — Ritz, a Mondelez International brand, is spicing things up with the introduction of its newest Ritz Bits Cracker Sandwiches flavor: Spicy Queso.

“With Spicy Queso, we’re answering consumers’ demands for exciting, bold flavors and turning up the heat on Ritz Bits,” said Steven Saenen, VP of marketing at Ritz.

The layered, bite-size crackers combine creamy cheese with a bold kick. The new spicy flavor addition aligns with Nestle’s trend predictions for 2025, depicting a rise in consumer demand for global and spicy flavors.

Snack sized 3-ounce bags will soon be available at convenience stores while the larger 8.8-ounce boxes will be available at major food retailers starting February 2025.

Earlier this year, Ritz released a spicy version of its Ritz Toasted cracker line.
