Wegmans launch pushes Elavi into 1,000 retailers

LOS ANGELES — Elavi, a better-for-you indulgence brand, has expanded its retail presence with the launch in 114 Wegmans Food Markets across New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Connecticut, Delaware, and Washington, D.C.

With the addition of Wegmans, Elavi is now in 1,000 retailers nationwide, marking the brand’s largest specialty grocery expansion to date. The new retailer adds to Elavi’s distribution footprint, which includes Costco, Whole Foods Market, H-E-B, Amazon, Thrive Market, Life Time Fitness and more.

“Wegmans shoppers are among the most discerning grocery consumers in the country,” said Michelle Razavi, founder and CEO of Elavi. “They read labels. They know the difference between good ingredients and not. We built Elavi for exactly that person, and we are thrilled to be on their shelves.”

The brand’s protein brownies are soft-baked, individually wrapped, and made with whole dates, almonds, real dark chocolate and flax. Each Elavi brownie delivers 10 grams of plant protein and 10 grams of fiber, omitting refined sugar, seed oils, sugar alcohols, artificial ingredients, gluten or dairy. The better-for-you brownies are also vegan, soy-free, shelf stable for 12 months and GLP-1 friendly.

“Consumers want to satisfy their sweet tooth without the guilt, the crash or the ingredient list they cannot pronounce,” Razavi said. “The GLP-1 movement, the growing obsession with protein and fiber, the shopper who flips every package over before it goes in the cart — all of that is converging right now, and Elavi was built for exactly this moment.”

All three of Elavi’s bestselling protein brownie flavors — Chocolate Fudge, Birthday Cake Blondie, and Peanut Butter Chocolate — are now available for $3.29 per brownie and $22.99 for an 8-count carton.
