NORTHBROOK, IL — In celebration of the brand’s first-ever round crispbread — Crisp Creations — Wasa has partnered with travel documentarian and outdoor enthusiast Dylan Efron to promote the new product and encourage consumers to snack all season.

Wasa’s newest crispbreads give crackers a modern twist with light flavors and an extra-large format. Available in Sesame & Sea Salt and Cinnamon flavors, both varieties feature simple ingredients and oven-baked crunch.

“We know that 76 percent of consumers say they’ve replaced meals with snacking,” said Lori Schwartz, brand manager at Wasa USA. “The round shape of Crisp Creations crackers and baked-in flavor let people get creative when preparing delicious, health-conscious snacks.”

The collaboration will include Wasa Camp Crunch, an urban retreat set to take place on Governors Island, NY. The experience will capture the nostalgia of summer camp while bringing the extra-large crackers to life through a mix of outdoor activities for consumers to participate in.

“We also know Wasa fans lead active lives and want to kick off summer with some wholesome fun,” Schwartz added. “Enter Wasa Camp Crunch, the retreat that shows how easy it is to snack creatively and refuel both bodies and minds.”

The brand’s partnership with Efron will highlight different ways consumers can eat Crisp Creations, whether it be for on-the-go snacking or planned occasions.

“As someone who’s always on the move, I need snacks on hand that are quick, flavorful and won’t slow me down,” Efron said. “Wasa’s Crisp Creations crackers are a perfect fit for that. My go-to is Sesame & Sea Salt flavor with avocado, lemon and chili flakes. It’s quick and easy to make, has that satisfying crunch and can be paired with healthy fats to stay full for whatever activity comes next.”
