PARK CITY, UT — Kodiak, best known for its whole-grain, protein-packed snack and breakfast product line, has teamed up with actor and producer Zac Efron to further the company’s brand and growth.

Efron, now a shareholder and member of the company’s board of directors, is Kodiak’s first chief brand officer and has plans to put a personal spin on new product innovations, brand strategy, national campaigns and the company’s giving-back initiatives.

“My fast-paced lifestyle requires the right food and a good amount of protein, which is why I love Kodiak’s products,” Efron said. “Having the chance to be a part of Kodiak’s team in a much bigger way is super inspiring to me.”

A long-time fan of Kodiak’s product, Efron looks forward to bringing the brand into new territory. With a passion for inspiring the brand’s consumers to explore nature, elevate their food and give back, the actor brings his own insights from his background traveling the world exploring sustainable agricultural practice and life-long focus on wellness and fitness.

As chief brand officer, Efron has already begun work on upcoming products, campaigns and conservation efforts.
