MIAMI — Plant-based protein bar brand TRUBAR, recently acquired by global snack company Eti Gida, is shaking up its TRUBAR Kids line with Minions-themed packaging and the debut of an all-new flavor: BANANAAAAAA Bread.

The chocolate banana bread-flavored bar delivers 9 grams of plant-based protein and omits peanuts, tree nuts, seed oils and sugar alcohols, all in a gluten-free format. The Minions packaging will roll out across the full TRUBAR Kids lineup, including its Fudge-Tastic Brownie, Iced Oatmeal Blast and Pop Goes Confetti flavors.

“TRUBAR has always believed that better-for-you snacks should be craveable, fun and anything but boring,” said Erica Groussman, co-founder and CEO of TRUBAR. “The Minions share that same playful spirit, so bringing them to TRUBAR Kids felt like a natural fit. And when you’re talking about the Minions, there was really only one flavor we could make first: BANANAAAAAA Bread.”

The new SKU launch comes on the heels of TRUBAR Kids’ rapid retail expansion since its 2025 launch. The line has added nearly 2,000 retail doors in 2026, expanding into Walmart, Whole Foods, Safeway, Albertsons, SaveMart and select Costco stores.
