BUFFALO, NY — To appeal to a larger consumer demographic, Top Seedz, a producer of organic, gluten-free crackers, introduced two new shapes of its signature seeded crackers and announced a shift to more sustainable packaging.

The new rectangular cracker shape will soon be standard for the brand, optimized for better dipping, cleaner packaging and an easier calorie count. The change also supports enhanced production efficiency, allowing Top Seedz to meet growing demand without compromising on quality or consistency.

“Switching to a rectangle may seem simple, but it’s a big move that benefits everyone — from our production team to our loyal customers,” said Rebecca Brady, founder and CEO of Top Seedz. “We’ve fine-tuned our equipment to keep things running smoothly and sustainably, all while keeping our ingredients 100 percent the same.”

In addition to the shape switch, Top Seedz crackers now feature a new shine on the underside due to the elimination of parchment paper in the baking process. The brand is actively exploring new ways to perfect the cracker’s finish while also scaling their operations, refining production processes and reducing environmental impact.

Product packaging is also getting an upgrade, with a transition from the current plastic clamshell case to a pouch format. This shift in packaging will not only reduce environmental impact but also extend shelf life.

The brand is retaining its workforce during the transition, moving team members into new roles within its expanded operations.

The second new shape option, a circular cracker, is designed specifically for Top Seedz’ grab-and-go pouches.

“These new shapes are a reflection of how we’re growing smart,” Brady said. “We’re improving our operations and preparing for new opportunities, all while staying true to what makes Top Seedz special: simple, clean ingredients and bold flavor.”

Consumers can find Top Seedz rectangle and circle seeded crackers — available in Sea Salt, 6-Seed, Rosemary, and Cumin — on the brand’s website now and store shelves later this year.
