Successors named for Campbell’s c-suite positions

CAMDEN, NJ — With two members of The Campbell’s Co.’s c-suite retiring at the close of its 2026 fiscal year, the company announced the new leaders taking the helm of these roles.

Melissa Nippert is set to succeed Dan Poland, EVP and chief enterprise transformation officer, and become senior VP and chief transformation officer. Similarly, Beth Jolly will step up as senior VP and chief communications officer for Campbell’s upon the retirement of Anthony Sanzio, EVP and chief communications officer.

“I’m pleased to welcome Melissa and Beth into these leadership roles,” said Mick Beekhuizen, Campbell’s president and CEO. “Both functions are critical to Campbell’s as we strengthen operations, build capabilities, align stakeholders and execute our growth strategy.”

Since joining the company in 2022, Nippert has led its supply chain transformation, taking on enterprise excellence and transformation. In her new role, she will continue these efforts and support Campbell’s.

Jolly has worked at the CPG company for more than two decades, most recently leading communications for Campbell’s business divisions and Growth office. As chief communications officer, she will oversee all internal and external communications for the company as well as The Campbell’s Foundation and community affairs initiatives.

“These transitions reflect our thoughtful succession planning and development of talent with experienced leaders ready to build on our momentum,” Beekhuizen said.

Nippert will report to Beekhuizen and Jolly will report to Diane Johnson May, EVP and chief people and culture officer.
