ARLINGTON, VA — SNAC International is strengthening its commitment to member engagement, retention and growth by adding two new team members.

Cheryl Bass has been named manager of member experience, and Brady O’Brien has joined the organization as manager of membership and communications. The new hires will further the association’s goals of delivering value to members while expanding reach across the evolving snack industry.

Bass joins SNAC from the International Bottled Water Association, where she gained a background in enhancing the member experience. In her new role, she will serve as a primary resource for SNAC members, with a focus on member engagement, retention and satisfaction.

“Cheryl’s passion for membership service and building meaningful relationships makes her an outstanding addition to the SNAC team,” said Cindy Kuester, president and CEO of SNAC International. “She understands the importance of delivering value to members every day and will be a go-to resource for our member companies. Her experience and energy will help us further strengthen engagement and ensure our members remain at the center of everything we do.”

O’Brien has earned his association experience through roles at Path to Purchase Institute and the Vermont Retail & Grocers Association. At SNAC, he will help lead efforts to grow membership, expand outreach into emerging areas of the snack industry, and enhance the association’s communications strategy.

“Brady brings a strong background in association management and a proven track record of connecting organizations with the audiences they serve,” said Kelly Knowles, EVP of SNAC International. “His focus will be on driving membership growth across traditional and non-traditional snacking sectors while elevating SNAC’s communications efforts to better engage current and prospective members. As the snack industry continues evolving, Brady’s experience will help position SNAC for continued growth and success.”
