LAS VEGAS — With International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) right around the corner, attendees may be receiving third-party emails about IBIE services which may be deceptive scams.

IBIE Show Management warned that common scam emails that attendees may receive related to the Expo include attendee lists, hotel scams and unauthorized publications.

Martiz Global Events is IBIE’s official registration vendor and the only company with official access to IBIE attendees through exhibiting, sponsorship and list rentals.  Some of the fraudulent actors include, but are not limited to, “Registered Delegates,” “Show Starter” and “Trade Event List.”

When it comes to housing logistics for IBIE, the Expo’s only official housing vendor is onPeak. Companies such as “Trade Show Planners” may contact exhibitors and attendees to claim that they are representing IBIE and/or the Las Vegas Convention Center. IBIE Show Management maintains that the best way to book hotels for the event is directly through its website.
