LOS ANGELES — With an uptick in consumer demand for global flavors, the latest innovation from Sadaf Foods offers a convenient option to fulfill this need.

The Middle Eastern and Mediterranean specialty foods producer launched its Halva Cake in three flavors: Caramel & Hazelnut, Pistachio & Chocolate, and Cinnamon & Almond Cookie. Shelf-stable and ready-to-plate, the dessert delivers a multi-layer textural experience with sesame paste, whole sesame seeds and nuts. With familiar inclusions, the combination offers a more approachable way to try out new product types.

Designed for retail grocery, specialty food stores, delis and foodservice, the new product provides a low-labor option with a simple three-step process: open, flip and serve.

The Sadaf Halva Cake comes in a 15.87-ounce container and is available for purchase directly through the company’s current retail and wholesale distribution center.
