GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Roskam Foods, a co-manufacturer of frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable food products, announced plans to centralize its growing granola and cereal production at its Grand Rapids, MI, campus as part of a broader network optimization strategy. The consolidation is anticipated to be complete by Oct. 1 and will result in the closure of the company’s San Dimas, CA, production facility.

“Centralizing cereal and granola production at Grand Rapids is an investment in the future of the category and in our customers,” said Andre LeBaron, CEO of Roskam Foods. “It positions us to deliver greater efficiency, faster innovation and the consistent quality our customers count on.”

The move will bring Roskam’s full granola and cereal capabilities into a single, multi-purpose Midwest location. According to the company, the Grand Rapids campus is well-positioned for ingredient resourcing, production resources and automation. Centralizing production is expected to improve customer service, accelerate speed to market and strengthen quality control across the category.

The San Dimas facility joined Roskam’s network through the company’s 2023 acquisition of Organic Milling. All production and scheduling were relocated to Grand Rapids to ensure supply continuity and minimize  no interruption to customer service or supply as a result of the transition.
