ROBESONIA, PA — Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a leading manufacturer of snack production systems, has announced the expansion of its project management team in response to global growth by hiring Vardan Upadhyaya, Michael Manley and Michael McDermott as project managers.
“We are excited to welcome three talented professionals to RBS,” said Tremaine Hartranft, director of technical sales for the company. “Each bring a blend of education and experience that will enhance the strength of our project management group. Together, the new project managers will work to exceed our quality, customer service and delivery goals for RBS’ growing global customer base.”
Prior to their roles at RBS, the trio has worked all over in different management and service positions.
McDermott held several positions over 26 years at Carpenter Technology Company. He has an associate degree in architectural technology and attended Alright College for business administration in Reading, PA. Manley held project coordination and management roles at multiple companies including Fleetwood Fixtures, Sweet Street Desserts and CHL Systems. He also earned two associates degrees in Reading, PA, at Reading Area Community College. Upadhyaya has held applications, operations and business development support positions at Brentwood Industries and VSU Global. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Alvernia University in Reading, PA.
