ROBESONIA, PA — Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), one of the world’s leading manufacturers of baking and process systems, has promoted Margaret “Meg” Vilmont to controller in its accounting department.

Vilmont joined RBS in 2013 as a senior accountant shortly after the company was acquired by the Markel Corporation. She has advanced throughout the years and now plays a key role in almost every aspect of the accounting department both internally and externally. In her new role, Vilmont will oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax and general ledger functions, with continued expansion of corporate accounting responsibilities.

“Meg has been a key contributor since day one with RBS,” said Chip Czulada, executive VP and chief financial officer, RBS. “We expect that her role will continue to grow along with the company.”

During her career, Vilmont has worked in various industries in Berks, Chester, Montgomery and Dauphin Counties, including public accounting, financial planning, non-profit organizations as well as government offices.

A Certified Public Accountant, Vilmont is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Albright College.
