PURCHASE, NY — PepsiCo, Inc. has selected 10 Hispanic-owned businesses to join its Greenhouse Accelerator Program: Juntos Crecemos (Together We Grow) Edition. This is the first time the program has focused on supporting emerging Hispanic businesses that provide products, services and technology solutions in the food and beverage industry.

The companies will participate in a six-month mentoring program and receive a $20,000 grant to accelerate business growth and transform product offerings. At the end of the program, one finalist will receive $100,000 to further advance its business.

The group represents a diverse range of emerging businesses, with finalists in the categories of consumer-packaged goods, beverages, market analytics and technology, sustainable packaging solutions, and environmental impact and waste reduction.

These early-stage businesses were picked through a selection process that evaluates potential innovative packaged goods and transformative solutions to improve consumer experience, sustainability and efficiency across the food and beverage industry.

Finalists were announced at the launch event in Plano, TX, with PepsiCo executives and experts from research and development, supply chain and design in attendance. During the event, the entrepreneurs presented an overview of their company and were paired with a PepsiCo mentorship team.

The Greenhouse Accelerator program was launched in Europe in 2016 and expanded to North America in 2018. The program supports innovators and entrepreneurs that appeal to consumer needs, this includes sustainability and nutrition solutions.
