HERNDON, VA — PMMI’s Pack Expo International 2024, the largest packaging and processing show of the year, set for Nov. 3-6 in Chicago, will introduce the newly developed Emerging Brands Central.
Located in the West Building at Booth W-20049, the Emerging Brands Central will feature free educational sessions designed specifically for growing brands seeking to scale their operations.
“The addition of Emerging Brands Central to Pack Expo International shows that companies of all sizes and backgrounds have a place at the largest packaging and processing event in the manufacturing industry,” said Laura Thompson, VP of trade shows at PMMI. “Growing brands seeking to expand can use this time to learn, get expert advice and network with their peers. The possibilities of the types of connections that can be made are endless.”
Held by industry experts, the 30-minute session topics will include:
- Brand Growth Strategies: These sessions will discuss how companies can effectively scale operations through value engineering and incremental automation.
- Sustainability and Innovation: Attendees can partake in focused discussions on sustainable packaging, materials and processes, as well as how to utilize innovations in manufacturing and packaging.
- Navigating Market Challenges: New brands will get insights into market trends and how to overcome entry barriers and supply chain challenges.

One-on-one consultations with expert advisors from companies such as PepsiCo, General Mills and Nestle will also be available during the show. Information on the advisors and how to set up appointments can be found on the event website.
In addition to the Emerging Brands Central, the show will feature more than 150 educational sessions featuring topics such as sustainability, automation, AI, food safety and production.
