HERNDON, VA — Registration for PACK EXPO International 2024, set for Nov. 3-6 in Chicago, is now open.

This year’s event is expected to welcome more than 45,000 attendees across various global CPG and life sciences companies. The tradeshow will feature more than 2,500 exhibitors across 1.3 million net square feet.

PACK EXPO 2024 show features

PACK EXPO International will offer several new and expanded show features:

  • Sustainability Central, a new show feature, focuses on packaging sustainability and what it means for brands. The area will offer presentations from experts on the Sustainability Stage and insights into actionable solutions in areas such as manufacturing, materials, recovery, logistics, analytics and design.
  • Emerging Brand Central, an evolution of the Emerging Brands Summit, offers industry experts’ insights on key topics including product development, packaging innovation and scaling strategies.
  • The Logistics Pavilion will be four times larger than in previous years due to high attendee demand. This show feature provides attendees with targeted solutions related to the supply chain.

PACK EXPO 2024 educational opportunities

This year’s event also offers more than 150 educational sessions in varying formats:

  • Thirty-minute seminars on breakthrough technologies and techniques will be available across three Innovation Stages.
  • The Processing Innovation Stage will offer 30-minute seminars centered on the latest processing breakthroughs in the food and beverage industry.
  • Industry Speaks provides a platform for experts from the PACK EXPO International Partner Program to cover topics across multiple industry verticals.
  • The Reusable Packaging Learning Center helps attendees learn about how a reusable packaging system can improve material-handling performance, reduce operating costs, create new economic values, and lower environmental impacts in the supply chain.

PACK EXPO networking opportunities

In addition to the pavilions and educational opportunities, PACK EXPO International also provides specialized networking opportunities.

  • PACK gives BACK, PACK EXPO’s annual benefit event, returns to Chicago this year with a performance by comedian Nate Bargatze.
  • The Packaging & Processing Women’s Leadership Network breakfast is a networking opportunity for women in the industry.
  • The Young Professionals Network evening event in downtown Chicago is for young professionals attending the show.

PACK EXPO International will also offer two awards programs to honor excellence and innovation in the packaging industry.

  • The Technology Excellence Awards recognizes the most innovative technologies not yet shown at a previous PACK EXPO.
  • Four members will be inducted into the 48th Packaging & Processing Hall of Fame.
