LOS ANGELES — Otis Spunkmeyer, an Aspire Bakeries brand, is helping operators capture consumer hearts with recipes for its Sweet Discovery Double Chocolate Pink Cookie in anticipation of Valentine’s Day.
The cookie features a dark, double-chocolate cookie dough and both chocolate chips and candy-coated pink chocolate gems.
Otis Spunkmeyer’s product can be baked and served as is by operators or used as the foundation for a more indulgent treat with toppings such as frosting, raspberry preserves, marshmallow fluff, graham cracker crumbs and sprinkles.
“The most delicious way to say ‘I Love You’ is with the Double Chocolate Cookie with Pink Gems,” said Paul Stippich, director of marketing for Otis Spunkmeyer. “Part of Otis Spunkmeyer’s Sweet Discovery line, this eye-catching cookie is perfect for operators to drive profits on Valentine’s Day and other holidays throughout the year. The cookies are baked fresh in-store from frozen pucks and can be sold as-is for a sweet treat, or decorators can dress them up for the holiday. I love watching the creativity that bakery teams bring to the ‘pink cookie’ at Valentine’s Day.”
The cookies come in frozen, 1.33-ounce pucks to ensure consistent baking for operators of all skill levels.
