The cookie, which features a dark double chocolate cookie dough with chips and candy-coated chocolates, is returning to in-store bakeries and menus in North America to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It also serves as an opportunity for foodservice and in-store bakery operators to give back to charities in their own regions.

“All of us have had someone in our lives that has been affected by breast cancer. This is a disease that impacts not only patients, but entire families and communities,” said Chris Prociv, chief commercial officer – retail for Aspire Bakeries. “With this cookie, we are encouraging in-store bakery and foodservice operators to support charities of their choice, while raising public awareness for breast cancer.”

For each case of Sweet Discovery Double Chocolate Cookies sold, Otis Spunkmeyer will donate a minimum of fifty cents until the end of October benefiting a global-reaching charity focused on breast cancer research.

In addition to the bake-and-serve method of sharing this product, the brand also suggests recipe applications that work year-round such as the Pink S’mores Cookie Sandwich and International Pink Cookie Day.

The product can be ordered on the Otis Spunkmeyer website or by calling (844) 99-ASPIRE.
