EAST HANOVER, NJ — Mondelez International’s OREO brand announced a new limited-edition version of its classic cookies: OREO Chocolate Covered Pretzel.
With a mix of flavor profiles, the cookies mark the brand’s first-ever sweet and savory variety. The LTO features a chocolate-flavored creme sandwiched between pretzel-flavored cookies topped with salt.
The innovation aligns with Mondelez’s sixth annual “State of Snacking” report, which revealed 81% of consumers agree that they pay attention to the sensory experience of snacks.
Consumers can find the new limited-edition OREO Chocolate Covered Pretzel cookies at retailers nationwide starting May 5, while supplies last.
