CHICAGO — Nutri-Grain, a Mars brand known for its lineup of bars and bites, expanded its product portfolio with the addition of Nutri-Grain Crunchy, an all-new bar that caters toward the whole grains and fiber department. The launch is the next step in Nutri-Grain’s brand refresh, pairing upgraded nutrition and flavor profiles with bright new packaging.

Consumer demand for purposeful nutrition is maintaining a steady growth rate. According to a 2024 report from the USDA, the average American consumes about half of the recommended daily fiber intake, signaling a white space for snack and food brands to launch new products featuring amped-up fiber. Nutri-Grain’s latest bar was created to support consumer wellness in a convenient format.

“Our goal with Nutri-Grain Crunchy is to bring something new to the aisle without losing what people already love about the brand,” said Eileen Flaherty-Yao, senior director, brand marketing at Mars. “It’s a fresh expression of Nutri-Grain’s hard-working goodness — a crisp, flavorful bar designed to support the small but meaningful moments that carry people through the day.”

Each bar contains at least 23 grams of whole grains and is peanut-free and Non-GMO. Made with a hearty blend of oats, barley, buckwheat, rye and quinoa, Nutri-Grain Crunchy also delivers on consumer demand for no high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors and colors.

The new product is hitting select grocery shelves in two flavors — Chocolate Chip Chia and Honey Oat Flax — for an SRP of $4.99 per 10-count box. National availability will roll out in spring 2026.
