MILWAUKIE, OR — Dave’s Killer Bread, a Flowers Foods brand, expanded its product portfolio with Amped-Up Organic Protein Bars, the second addition to its healthy snacking line that launched last year.

“After finding success in select test markets over the past year, we’re rolling out our Amped-Up Organic Protein Bars nationwide this summer to provide consumers with a convenient, whole grain snack that addresses the increased demand for plant-based protein options,” said Jillian Cohn, director of brand management for Dave’s Killer Bread. “They’re a great option for those looking for an everyday protein bar that is made with high-quality, organic ingredients you can trust but that doesn’t compromise on taste or texture.”

This addition is a direct response to increased consumer demand for plant-based protein and on-the-go snacking. Amped-Up Bars are soft-baked with whole grain ingredients such as rolled oats, quinoa and chia seeds. Each bar contains 10 grams of protein derived from pea and rice proteins and organic hemp.

The new snack offering from the brand comes in three flavors: Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk, Double Chocolate Coconut, and Blueberry Almond Butter. Traditional to the brand’s other products, the bars are organic, non-GMO, and made without artificial ingredients or preservatives.

Dave’s Amped-Up Organic Protein Bars are available in major food retailers nationwide in 4-count packages for an SRP of $8.79 or single-serve for $2.49.
